Maja loves hiking and being outdoors, and she's been playing soccer since the age of 4. Her father played professionally in Spain and has coached and referred since retiring from playing. Her mother played soccer in college and went on to coach and referee for many years. Together, they helped to start soccer here on the island of Kaua'i as well as coordinate and manage the leagues and referee association for many years. Maja now has two daughters who are very involved in the Rush family with her husband Colby who she met through playing high school soccer on Kaua'i. She now helps coach and manage the Kaua'i Rush branch and their teams and administrators.
