Justin is from the island of Kaua`i where he played youth soccer for his home town of Kalaheo since the age of 5. He was a member of several of Kaua`i’s traveling teams throughout his teens. Justin played high school soccer for the Kaua`i High Red Raiders and served as Co-Captain for the 1998 KIF Champions in his Senior year. Upon graduation, he attended the IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton, Florida, where he was able to participate in the 1999 Dallas Cup and play for the Bradenton Academics in the 1999 season. Justin is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Boulder and currently works at the Pacific Missile Range Facility as an Electronics Technician. He got his first taste of coaching back in 2000 when served as an assistant for his high school alma mater. His love for the sport reignited when his daughter started playing soccer in 2021. Justin has served as a head coach for Kaua'i Rush since spring of 2022 and has truly found a calling in teaching young players about the Beautiful Game and to believe in themselves. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, learning, and can still be seen kicking the ball around in Kaua`i’s adult league.
